Studies of architecture and diploma with Prof. Peter Märkli at the ETH Zurich. National and international work experience with MVRDV, Gigon/Guyer and Baumann Roserens Architects. Self-employed architect and urban designer since 2010. Since 2023 Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Liechtenstein and since 2018 Lecturer in Urban Design for the Department of Architecture at ETH Zurich. Research and teaching are part of our identity. Michael Wagner is Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Liechtenstein since 2023 and brings scientific perspectives to practice, design and discourse. From 2018 to 2023 he has been giving the lecture series Urban Design as a lecturer at the ETH Zurich. From 2010 to 2018 he was a lecturer and research assistant at the chair of Professor Kees Christiaanse there, and from 2012 to 2018 he led the research group Cultural Landscape. In 2017/18, he was a visiting lecturer in Urban Design at the University of Liechtenstein, and from 2013 to 2018 he was an external lecturer there in the Master's programme for the seminars ‹Regenerative Environments› and ‹Settlement and Territory›. In 2014, he held a visiting professorship in Agenda Teaching at the Technical University of Munich. Between 2007 and 2009, he and Rahel Lämmler investigated the work of the East German concrete shell builder Ulrich Müther.
